Vultures By John Mayer Bass Cover (Pino Palladino)

I don't usually do bass covers but a company called Tomplay reached out to me a while ago and I only just got round to checking it out.

It's good! 

You get a decent backing track and then the notation/TAB (and also the chord symbols). You can use it for so many things but, here, I played a whole take straight through (mistakes and all) adding my own touch to Pino Palladino's great bass line.

I'm going to teach the bass line to Vultures next week so stay tuned for that...

I had a lot of fun practising playing along to a whole range of songs. If I can avoid YouTube copyright strikes (the constant bane of YouTube creators), I'll do more covers like this one and then a lesson based around the song.
