Bass Guitar Lesson – Muting Unwanted Noise

It's annoying when you notice noises coming from your bass that you didn't intend. There are all kinds of ways that you can accidentally set off a string or a note and they all sound bad. This video lesson takes you through a few simple ways to clean up your technique for accurate bass playing.

Muting can also be used for percussive sounds and for producing ghost notes. This video contains some muting techniques that you can use in a musical way:
