Bass Tone Is In The Hands

You'll hear the expression "bass tone is all in the hands" a lot if you're a bass player.

I actually don't think that's entirely true and I've made a couple of lessons explaining that further:

However, there is an awful lot you can change tone-wise with your plucking hand.

That's what this lesson is all about.

The examples from the lesson come from my book Complete Fingerstyle Bass Technique. The book is a comprehensive guide on bass technique (pretty much everything just not slap or plectrum - those will need separate books!).
