Reading Music On Bass Guitar [1/16th Notes]

Reading music is useful even if you may not "need" to read music. If you're not a professional bass player or a theatre musician or someone else who requires the skill, then why bother?

Because it opens up a whole world of music and hones these skills:

  • Note learning
  • Fretboard knowledge
  • Rhythms
  • Learning new styles
  • Expanding your repertoire

In this lesson, I'll take you through a short 1/16th note piece, which you can play along with at the end of the video.

Scroll down for the notation (zero TAB here...) and for some useful resources.
