With so many distractions around these days, I decided to give myself a reminder to be more consistent with my practice by creating a wallpaper I’m constantly faced with on the biggest distraction of all: my iPhone.
The biggest difference between now and when I was practising a lot as a kid in the 90s is the number of distractions from screens and the internet. Being honest, I know that I can easily waste over an hour a day mindlessly screening (although sometimes it’s worth it). This is time I could ‘borrow’ to focus on learning my craft.
Right-click the image and save it, then send it your phone and set it to your lock screen.
Credit to Austin Kleon for the idea.
