Pentatonic Shapes PDF & Drum Loop
First, learn the pentatonic shape across two strings. This is an endlessly useful set of notes! Explore different ways to play and sequence the notes up and down the neck.
Then use the drum loop to play the simple groove (based on Thinking of You by Sister Sledge), which is just E to B.
This workout is great for your timing and groove - especially when you use the drum loop. Recording yourself can be useful (if a little too revealing sometimes!) as you can hear your timing discrepancies. This is the best way to identify and fix any issues you may have, like muting, timing, or technique deficiencies.
