Mastering 12/8 Time Signature Made EASY with These Bass Guitar Tips

There's no finer feel to jam in than 12/8. It's a close cousin of the more popular 4/4 time signature, where each of the four beats in the bar is split up into two 1/8th notes.

In 12/8, four beats in a bar are also felt, but - crucially - each one is split up into three 1/8th notes. This difference in the meter produces an entirely different feel, which is so fun to play with.
