7 Bass Rhythms 1 Chord Progression

My last bass lesson took just four notes through seven different rhythms. Here's the lesson in case you missed it:

This week, I thought I'd expand things a little. We're still using the same rhythms but now a chord progression in the key of E minor (Em / G / D / C).

Here are the seven grooves:

1. Straight 1/8th rock
2. Shuffle blues
3. Straight 1/16th funk
4. Swing 1/16th dance
5. Tumbao
6. Dotted 1/4 to 1/8th pop
7. Compound 12/8
