My last bass lesson took just four notes through seven different rhythms. Here's the lesson in case you missed it:
This week, I thought I'd expand things a little. We're still using the same rhythms but now a chord progression in the key of E minor (Em / G / D / C).
Here are the seven grooves:
- Straight 1/8th rock
- Shuffle blues
- Straight 1/16th funk
- Swing 1/16th dance
- Tumbao
- Dotted 1/4 to 1/8th pop
- Compound 12/8
