Incredibly Useful 5 String Bass Patterns

5 string bass guitars are not 'better' or 'worse' than their 4 string siblings.

For me, they're just tools to be experimented with and used if you like.

I love 5 strings because:

  • The extra low B makes playing in different keys easy
  • Transposing songs on the fly on gigs is a doddle
  • It opens up different avenues of creativity

This lesson will show you a number of patterns that the extra string allows you to use. Scroll down for the free PDF.
