Rutger Gunnarsson is probably the most famous ABBA bass player, but Gimme Gimme Gimme was recorded by Mike Watson, and it's an absolute stone-cold classic of a bass line.
This was actually a joint request from a subscriber and my eight-year-old daughter, so I had to make this lesson.
I ended up using Tomplay, which is a great piece of software that generated the TAB/notation and backing track (which I didn't use for this lesson because of monetization reasons, but I will post soon).

Here's the original for you to listen to. Pay attention to Watson's note lengths on the octave line sections. He plays them staccato (short and detached), and that's the key to making it groove.
Use a metronome at a comfortable tempo to get the timing and feel together. The line involves a lot of string skipping and hand shifting (especially in the chorus section - my favourite bit!).
