This lesson is a little bit of fun that you can use to create your own bass lines, fills and solos. Jimi Hendrix was famous for many things but there's one twiddly (for lack of a better word) lick he plays a lot. It involves hammer-ons, pull-offs, and the minor pentatonic scale. Before you say anything, yes I know he's a guitarist but I think you can get a lot out of listening to great players on other instruments. I'm pretty convinced Flea was very influenced by Hendrix. Check out the video lesson then take the shapes and ideas and try to incorporate them into your playing. Make sure to download the drum beat below as there's nothing like working on your groove by playing to rhythm.
