Cracker Island (Gorillaz): Thundercat Bass Guitar Tutorial

When you hire Thundercat to play bass on your song you know it's going to turn out great.

Gorillaz hit the ball out of the park with this one and Thundercat's bass and vocals are integral to the song.

The whole song is built around a fairly simple main groove with loads of unusual harmonic minor and diminished bass fills. That's what you're going to learn in this bass tutorial.

Here's the original.

Listen out for the repetitive groove and all the juicy harmonic minor bass fills.
