The Most Useful Exercise For Bass Guitar Ever?

I learnt this collection of notes over 25 years ago and I still make music from it every day. This is an exercise for bass that you can use to make your own basslines up, improvise, and compose. It is very powerful indeed.

Harmonising The Major Scale

I did one lesson on this that you can see here. Download the PDF of all 7 arpeggio shapes there. Then memorise this and make your own lines up straight away. You don't have to use all the notes of each arpeggio - you could even just use the root notes. Just knowing that the other notes of the arpeggio are available to you opens up a huge range of possibilities for your bass playing.
