This is a bass line from my new book RnB, Soul & Motown Style Bass Lines.
It's in the style of Tommy Cogbill's amazing bass line on Son of A Preacher Man by Dusty Springfield. The outro especially is so good, with Cogbill's busy, fluid, and melodic style coming to the fore.
You can see why Jaco Pastorius was so influenced by his playing.
If you want to buy the book, you can get it on Kindle, PDF, or paperback.
