I saw this Youtube Short of Flea from Red Hot Chili Peppers jamming on his vintage Fender Precision:
The use of a simple repetitive loop to jam over inspired me to create this lesson. You can use something like a TC Electronic Ditto looper pedal or just record the notes into your DAW.
Either way, you create a simple backing for you to practice:
- intervals
- scales and modes
- soloing
- jamming
- improvising
- fretboard knowledge
There's so much this practice is useful for!
This lesson was something of an impromptu effort as my daughter was off school for the whole week with flu. As such, there's no TAB or backing track for this lesson. Embrace it!
