Want a formula to create rock bass riffs with ease?
Well, there isn't one but if there was, it would look something like this:
Cool Technique (slap, rock fingerstyle, articulations) + Scale (maybe an E Phrygian for dark vibes) = Tempo + Repeating Rhythm = AMAZING ROCK RIFF \m/
In this bass tutorial I'll show you how to combine those elements to compose interesting and authentic rock riffs.
Scroll down for the PDF with all the scale shapes plus the progressive rock bass line I made up on the spot in the lesson.
This lesson was inspired by all the research and writing I'm currently doing for a new rock bass book. Make sure you sign up to my newsletter if you want to know when it comes out.
